The exhaust hood of the PH-161MD and 161DHS (for commercial use) with a direct connection to the exhaust duct draws in air from the room, so dust will accumulate over the years of use. Depending on the degree of dust accumulation, dust may fall on the combustion section and ignite the dust or oil.
We recommend periodic inspections (for a fee) twice a year.
The following are some of the maintenance procedures that can be performed by the customer.
[Care]
If the surface of the device becomes dirty, soak a cloth that has been squeezed with water with a neutral detergent to remove the dirt, and then wipe off the detergent and water thoroughly.
Cleaning the oil pan For the oil pan
To remove the grease pan, remove the two nuts from the exhaust hood, remove the front panel, and pull out the grease pan by slightly lifting up the handle of the grease pan.
[Please]
Although it depends on the frequency of use, clean the oil pan at least once a month.
Do not use flammable solvents or other flammable cleaning agents to clean the oil pan.
The hot water temperature control unit may malfunction due to water stains, etc., so move the hot water temperature control knob about 2 to 3 times a month.
Do not rub the device body with a scrubbing brush or brush.
Do not use detergents other than neutral detergent, thinner, benzine, polishing powder, steel wool, etc. The surface will be scratched. Also, alkaline detergents such as microwave ovens may peel off the paint.
* About the exhaust duct equipment beyond the exhaust connection part of the equipment
The PH-161MD and PH-161DHS are gas instant water heaters that are directly connected to the exhaust duct and meet the conditions that can be connected to the exhaust duct. Please clean etc. so as not to hinder fire prevention and perform appropriate maintenance.
Do not rub commercial heat-resistant glass with a scrubbing brush or metal scrubbing brush.
